This is so much nicer than cutting boards on the floor! I altered the plans by adding extra supports out of 1x3s and adding a shelf to add storage and make it sturdier. Since I added the shelf and assembled the box with my Kreg jig, I skipped the boards along the top and bottom. This project cost me at least $100, between the sheet of plywood, a little extra lumber for the shelf, and all the hardware (the casters and folding hinges were maybe $60, including shipping for the hinges), but it's worth it for the ease of using the saw and the tool organization.

My very first build!!  Thanks for the easy plans.

 A local South Floridian found me through Pine+Main. She needed two beds for her older kids. Client hired me to build two queen size storage beds based on the Sumatra Storage Beds from Pottery Barn. These beds took over eight weeks to build. My first time making drawers boy was that a challenge. I installed full extension drawer glides to access all the content in the drawers. Bed comes together in 3 pieces. It is stained Varathane's Dark Walnut. And the top coat is the Rust-Oleum Triple Thick Polyurethane in a matte finish. Built with Purebond plywood. These beds are super heavy and super strong.  

I made the bulk of this bed from 2 sheets of OSB to make it cheaper. The headboard is from salvaged pallets and scrap studs from a construction site. Baskets or drawers forthcoming. Easy plans to follow.

Thank you for the great plans. It was an easy project thanks to the easy to follow directions. I am getting a lot of compliments on them.

Single door slider.  Made the hardware from standard 1 1/4 flat metal and rollers from a couple pulleys.  Top is rough cut white pine that had some great saw marks and knots for character.  Back is ship lap from an old barn.

I loved this plan from the minute I saw the post. We got the kids and their friends involved in this build. I love having a outdoor table that is large enough to have everyone around.

Easy to build. Just used 1x4's and 1x3's.  

Beautiful table 

Just bought a vacation home and need to furnish the place. Started with the size Farmhouse bed with side tables. Used Behr paint from Home Depot called Cotton Whisper sanded edges and used a dark walnut stain to antique. Finished it off with 2 heavy coats of poly.

Nice and easy plan to build this beautiful table and dog crate.

Modified the potting bench plan to make an outdoor bar.

My two daughters really enjoyed helping daddy make these birdhouses but most of the loved painting them.

This table was a cinch to put together and only took a couple of hours

This playhouse was built by my 4 year old son and I. We used the general plans and even added the drop down desk. Most of it was built using my miter saw stand, another great idea by Ana White!

This cart was smaller then I expected but makes a great little addition to my office

This was my very first project... I went with antiquing the table, thanks to my Golden Retriever. (Even though he's a hundred times better than his puppy stages, if he chews, it won't show easily.) 

The wood sizes are slightly off, but hey - this is what you do with free wood! Still worked perfectly!
