I downloaded the plans for the octagonal table. I have made several and used a few different woods, made a few minor design changes as well as creating a routine and using a jig or two. This jig fits in between the two boards that form the seat support frame. I used a large paint stick and a scrap piece of 2 x 4. Using a table saw, I cut a groove in the 2" edge, approximately 1/2" deep, this took two passes (pass it through, turn it and pass again), a slight adjustment and another two passes. Insert the paint stick and seat all the way down. Place jig between seat support frame, might be a little snug or use a clamp to hold in place. Adjust so just the paint stick sticks up enough to separate seat boards. With seat boards against the jig, it forms the perfect angle/guide to match cuts. I also used 1/2" spacers to create consistent spacing. Love the various plans you make available as well as your videos.

We and our dogs love our new sofa! This is the place where we cuddle with the dogs and serve as extra seating when we have guests. It looks great! Thank you so much Ana.

So I had an IKEA DELSEV single bed frame which i bought off someone who didn't need it anymore. Great sturdy bed for $25, but I wanted more space in my rental room, so I decided to go loft given the generous ceiling height. I did some research for ideas to convert my current bed, and found the perfect one at your site! I made modifications to your plans so that I would be able to walk underneath without having to slouch, and adjusted some measurements to integrate the IKEA bed frame. The project only cost me $38 worth of timber, screws were pinched (with permission!) from my landlord's stash, and this was the result after 3 days of cutting, sanding, partial assembly, staining and varnishing, and final assembly! The small tin of stain and varnish was originally for a wooden rack project for my vintage bicycle, and i managed to cover both rack and bed frame with the entire tin, down to the very last drop!

Two Piece Portable Outdoor Wood Chair

This is the very first thing I've ever built! I would never have thought it could be so easy! Thanks so much Ana - your my hero!!!

I adapted the simple Kitty Tree plan to make an outdoor sunroom for my cats. They are locked inside when I'm away, so this was a way for them to get some fresh air. They can access it via a tunnel, visible on the side as a grey box that butts up against the panel for the cat flap.
It's 36"X30" and 68" high.
The walls are made of plexiglas and I made the interior ramps by cutting up a set of wooden shelves.Plexiglas is expensive, but I salvaged some that was slightly scratched and going to the landfill. Otherwise, it would have cost me well over $100.
The frame was built using a Kreg jig, which is now my new favourite tool. I also added some casters so it can be rolled away from the wall for cleaning.
I found the Kitty Tree plan to be easy and versatile.

A student built a pair for a show and placed, the buyer liked them so much he requested a coffee table to match.

Well I have found your site through Pinterest md now I am Addicted. Not only did I make one stool, but now three ( one for each of my boys). I will be finishing them shortly. But since it is my first project I wanted to share and thank you for the plans.

Next up is a sofa table (90% done already) and the media center (which I will float and use as storage for kids toys and double as a window seat)

Anyway, these stools are great, the kids love them and thy will go great in the kids room under the camp loft bed or loft playhouse bed (my next project :)

For my daughters 8th birthday I decided I would make her a doll house for her American Girl dolls. Then I decided to make all the doll furniture too. Then I started thinking that I might as well sew all the bedding and cushions. She loves it!!
