I did not follow any plans for this project. I literally just sketched out a few ideas and went with one of them based on the size I wanted. I used some pine project boards 3/4in that were already ripped to 16 inches. I cut them with my circular saw to size and connected everything with some wood glue and a kreg jig. I bought the $20 kreg jig and it worked perfectly I also bought the driver, clamp and kreg 1 1/2 inch wood screws. I used polyshades dark oak i think for the finish. I made it a little darker than I wanted but overall I am very happy considering I had an old computer desk sitting there before. I plan to make a farmhouse table in the future. I love this site thank you for the inspiration everyone!

This is my extremely altered double loft bed. My sister needed a custom sized double loft bed, I figured I could use this plan and make two beds in an L shape, but the space I had to work with was smaller than these plans so I had to re-design most of the bed all together, I ended up attaching two sides of each bed to the wall with legs only on the outer pieces. She wanted a "fun" looking bed so I added a splash of color, just simple enough for me to make.

We altered Ana's plans and made a little bit smaller version of it. :)

Since I used hardwood (red oak) I have to modify the plan and eliminate the sides of the shelves. Modifications and measurement is on the additional photo. Thanks again Ana, you're the best!

A great simple & useful project requiring 2 - count 'em - 2 different materials - screws & 2X4's. I would NOT go cheap on the 2X4's. Be careful picking over them and make sure they're as straight as possible. If some are bowed, that's OK. Just use them for the actual shelves, making sure the bow is up. I used bar clamps to hold any warped ones in place before screwing them down.

I needed mine to move so I added some castors to the bottom. It is my bakery cart! I also had hubby put a double towel rack on it for my flour clothes. Thanks so much for the plans! This is my first project and I loved doing it! Hubby got me the Kreg Jig and it was a breeze. I even used that for the top!!

First furniture project, first Kreg jig use.

Heavily adapted storage sofa plans.  Used existing day bed mattresses.  Made all wood surfaces finished with nice cladding, and all fabric portions removable and washable.

Added arms, and a back ledge.  Ledge is hinged to allow access to wall behind so I can get to the outlets.

Lots of work, but it is AWESOME.  Thanks for the inspiration Ana!

This is one of my favorite pieces because the white contrasts perfectly with the walnut hardwood.  The base of the table is all standard 2x4 and 4x4s, and the tabletop is 100% walnut.
