This is my biggest project to date. It's a great craft desk!

I used an oak project panel for the top, and pine for the rest. Finished with Rustoleum dark walnut, 2 coats of poly, and white paint.

Also, I'll probably revisit the hinge placement, adding another on each side.

I used the x-back bench plans to build this bench, but trimmed the length down to 4 feet to fit the space.  It's constructed with cedar and is so beefy and sturdy. It has stood it's own against several storms already and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Thanks Ana for all the free plans and tutorials! 

This is my first project using my Kreg Jig. Although it's not perfect, I think it came out fairly well and it was an easy project for my first try. I would also recommend buying your lumber at a lumberyard, because it's very difficult to find good, straight boards at the big box stores.

Built for conditions on Mull of Galloway, Scotland. Greenhouse has to stand up to 70mph gales from Irish Sea. Used brick base with wooden frame as per plans on this web site. Nearly same dimensions but changed them slightly to accomodate sheet lengths etc.

My family and I love fresh vegetables, so we decided to try this. It turned out so great!!! I have now purchased wood to build 3 more! I did modify the plan though, as I wanted a 4' X 8'.

Take some scrap wood, and make beautiful wall hanging art / decor out of these free printable vintage French seed packets of vegetables and flowers ! Perfect gift for anyone who loves garden and vintage!

This was a cool first time project! Initially in my mind I thought, I'm going to make a doghouse! Eehh!...This was simple enough and fun! basic training and very useful! The cedar planter. I must admit, a few mistakes here and there, on my own account, but nevertheless, it looks great and it was an awesome project to get myself introduced to the basic tools and ways of measuring as well! I highly recommend this project for those who are new at this! This was my first time using the tools and first project. I loved it and can't wait to create something else!! I know I'll get better in time!

Ripped a 2x4 down the middle for the legs and bottom rungs, so custom 2x2s.  1x2s for the mid and top.  Biscuit jointed and edge glued 12x12 Hard Maple Top.  Glue and pocket hole joinery.

Our son has a lot of Lego, especially fire engine Lego.
It was spread out everywhere and we needed to contain it.

This fire station playhouse was perfect.

I added a ramp so the cars and trucks could get up to the top level and garage doors on one side as our house is more like a garage then a fire station.

I used scrapbooking paper on the upper level walls and painted a H on the roof for the helicopter. (or in our case a plane).

When I realized I was going to build the closet tower, i made sure there were plans for the drawers before beginning. Thankfully there were, so that made this a brainless build. Thanks, Ana! Read about the build, here. 

7 1/2 foot table using basic Ana White plans. I removed the stretcher to allow for more seating... but reinforced the underside to help make it structurally stronger. I also didn't add breadboards as the boss didn't like them. Painted the benches and legs of the table white.... stained the top with miniwax classic grey with a few coats of poly.

This is my second build and I'm so pleased with how it turned out! I bought a Kreg Jig especially for this project, and I honestly don't know how I ever lived without it!

These were exactly what we were looking for to dress up the front of our house.  They are a great size and went together pretty easily.  Getting the angle cuts right took a few tries, but once you get past that it's all pretty simple!  Also these are very forgiving for small errors and they look fantastic!  We made three for across the front of our house and painted them to match our front door.  For more details on our planters, please follow the link to our blog!
