Pottery Barn Inspired Ana-White Collection
This is my first attempt at building and your website made it possible. There were a couple of mistakes, I admit. This was especially true with the finish. I did my best, but I'm a little impatient with letting things dry.
I am also having a difficult time estimating how long it took to build as I am the sometimes proud father of 3 boys...aged 2, 4, and 5....resulting in frequent stopping, starting, and intermittent chasing down the street. I need an exterior lock on the garage.

We used the Fancy X Farmhouse plans and matching bench to create a wonderful new farmhouse table and bench for the lake house. We distressed the tops of the bench and table and stained them Weathered Grey with the base of the table and bench stained Ash. We absolutely love it!
Used your plans to make a sturdy, durable hardwood picnic table for a friend. Top is black cherry (1 1/4") and base/seats are white oak (1 1/4"). The seats are one piece, 11" wide from a white oakoy cut and sawed on our property! Sealed with two coats of Spar Urethane.

My daughter's room has a strange little cut-out section in one of its corners. We debated for a while over how to make it look like it's supposed to be there. After discussing all of our options, I remembered that we had a wood pallet in our garage. I also remembered seeing a great plan on Ana White's website for a book shelf made from a pallet, so I decided to give it a try. Fortunately cutting the pallet down in half made it the perfect size for this corner. Sarah loves books and drawing, so it makes a perfect little reading/art area. I love how it turned out, especially since it was FREE!

We saw this table here on Ana-White and loved it so much that we decided to take a shot at it. We have done smaller projects with wood before but nothing like this. In all honesty, it was super easy and fun!
I built these for my daughter's 22nd birthday, after she showed me a set of night stands that resembled these from the site. They were my first furniture woodworking project I have ever done. I did add a set of gussets at the bottom, below the bottom shelf. I had to rip the 2x2's for this project, as I can't find any where around that sells them. I opted for a paint brush finish on the body to give it an antique look. I used 7 coats of polycrylic to give the shelves some depth. I just loved how the stain shows off the grain and knots in the wood.
My daughter loved them when I revealed them on her birthday.
Modified lounger, made from 75mm x 38mm (cls) timber, sealed with 3 coats of exterior varnish.
Had great fun making this one, already on with making my second lounger.
A bit of wood
This was my first attempt at doing a project with a drawer. It definitely took time to make sure everything was level so that the drawer would side in and out smoothly. You can't see see it in these pictures but I used bead board in place of the plywood on the back and on the sides. I also used 1x8s glued and screwed together instead of the 3/4" plywood. I can't take credit for the finish on the project though. My wife is the one in charge of making my projects look great. She's the one that did the fun antiqued finish on the side table.

I enjoyed these consultation and expression onward to greasing one's palms and showing the hold. In that respect nonentity of more than worldwide sake that elevating youngsters! Devotes Pine Tree State more or less themes since emerging soundness programing.
I built this for my little brothers living room because he desperatly needed something for his tv to sit on beside his safe (he has a true bachelor pad) i used the plans for the tryde media console and the finish on it was done with a torch. I put 2 coats of clear satin poly. The project too about 6 hours to complete. i love how it turned out !

Cool finish. Care to share the details on how you did it?
I did a 15" deep x 36 wall cabinet over the drawers and the rest of the uppers are 12deep x 42"
Lowers are standard 24" deep
Still deciding on countertops
Decided on pour in place concrete for the counter tops

This is my first made-from-scratch table, and I'm really proud of the result!
I made this table for my amazing in-laws. They just moved into a beautiful new home with a spacious, open dining area, and they've been looking for a large table that our growing family can gather around.
We customized Ana's design by making the table larger and by transforming the ends of the table into extendable 10" table leaves.
The final dimensions are:
Height: 2.5'
Width: 3.4'
Length (fully extended): 10'
It took two weeks to make, predominately evenings and weekends, and/or whenever my baby girl was asleep!
Summer lessons, had my 10 year old and 13 year old build. It was their first project and they did all the work. Great designs and easy to follow. We will do more this summer from Ana White.

It looks like they are about $15-$16 for a set of 4
I used pallet wood for the head and foot boards and followed Jenny's Hinged Footboard plans at http://www.birdsandsoap.blogspot.com/ with a few modifications for stability so this can withstand my dogs' constant wrestling matches! The balance of the lumber was all house construction leftovers so all I bought were hinges and barrel bolts. I adore ALL the storage! I am in love with this site because it gets you "going" and then your imagination can take over and let you customize. Thank you Anna and Jenny! See my blog for a step by step.

Great use of "cast-offs." And the creative use of what you had on hand makes for a really striking, beautiful look. Great job!
This was my very first build. I had mostly only worked on redoing furniture. I was in need of a new bed. I had a hard time finding something I loved and was in my budget. I happened to come across these plans on pinterest. I fell in love. I went out and bought a small table saw. It was crazy that after buying a table saw, wood and the rest of the materials; it was still only around a third of the price of similar beds I liked. I ended up opting to put metal bins in the center instead of drawers.

My first project! it took me longer than it should have but I had never used a jig saw or hinges before. The kids were 2&3 (now 3&4) and they LOVE them!
This was a super easy project. We love how it turned out
