My husband and I loved the Squared2 Chair we saw on this site and we knew that we wanted to have this design for our dining chairs. As my building experience has increased, I thought it was time to try. This is my first chair: it is not perfectly executed, but I learned a few things along the way and I've decided to buy a few tools, too. I modified the square back pattern cut lengths explained briefly on my little blog.

I made the miter saw cart today. It took me about 2.5 hrs, but I was going slow and taking lots of breaks.

This was a part of my recent bathroom remodel (new floor tile, shower tile, toilet, and vanity). The plans came out of looking at my favorite home sites, which for this were Ana White and Remodelaholic, and realizing that the vanities in my price were were cheap and not that cheap.

The vanity build itself didn't take that long but had to be done is small segments due to lack of one giant clump of time. Total wood cost was around $60, plus $5 for the gloss polyurethane, $60 for the sink (clearance) and $100 for the faucet. More importantly, the vanity fits the space that I had in the efficient bathroom.

The bed in grey, also made the backboard taller (and doubled support on back) because the bed will have a box spring (photo 2).  Awesome plans, love the look already.  Excuse the background mess.  The back wall is part of the same project! Thanks again for the plans!!

Note to future builders, learn from my one fatal mistake, be really picky on your quality of wood.  I had some slight frame issues because on a bad board that resulted in about a 1/4 inch bow on one side.  My slats are all use rival but you can see some done touch both sides...that is the bow.  Still no one will likely notice but me.

Second, there was no info on spacing along the frame for attaching the 2x4 to the 2x6.  I used 12", maybe overkill.

Project was super easy to build, and fits a TON of books and toys. Perfect for our nursery. Stained in Minwax Classic Grey with a satin poly finish.

We are getting a puppy in a couple weeks and we want to crate train her. We have a small house so the only place we have to put the crate is in the living room. Needless to say, we needed a way to make the crate look good in our living room. That's when I found the plans for the rustic x-end table. The dimensions were almost the same as the dog crate. I only had to change the dimensions by a couple inches and wallah! Now the crate doesn't look out of place and I have a place to put my laptop and phone! I ended up ripping the 2x6's just a saw blade width down to get rid of the rounded edges and that made the top come together smoother. I also planed down the top a bit as well. In some spots, you can hardly tell they were 2x6's laminated together! I used two different stains on it. The first coat was a tudor stain but I wanted to warm it up a bit so I put a coat of antique walnut on it as well. I am very very happy with how this turned out. Now my husband would like me to build a coffee table to match!

I made this sink from a sink that I saw on here one time and can't find now. Just improvised didn't follow a plan. I have it in my garage and plan to stain it and add some touchs soon.

I used Ana's outdoor daybed with canopy pattern to make this awsome daybed. I made a cover and matching pillows.

When my daughter asked for a dollhouse for her 3rd party I decided to just make her one and this Dream House plan was just perfect. I got a little carried away and added an extra floor. I also made some furniture out of scrap wood and I plan to add an elevator. This was a very fun project and my little one is already making requests for more furniture, pillows, blankets and a TV and video game room for the house.

I only spend about $50 total but that was using the cheapest wood I could find. The floors were made using plywood that was pre-cut at 24" x 24" . This project was a big hit with my little one. Thanks for the plans Ana.

I built this American girl doll house for my daughter. I wanted to give her something to keep her youth alive! 

I built 3 of the square picnic tables, as we have a large extended family. I enjoyed the project and the results. I did end up adding a cross brace and some metal clips, they added a little more strength for the table when it was full of people.
