Thank you Ana! The Just My Size Closet was the perfect solution to my little girl's closet. I had recently found myself in a daily battle with my three year old. She wanted to be independant and dress her self. I desperately wanted her to stop getting a step stool and yanking her clothing off of the hangers. The yanking resulted in a dozen or so half handing shirts, a pile of broken hangers, and a mother daughter show down first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Enter the Just My Size Closet !!! The plans were super easy to follow, WAY less expensive than the ready made customizable units at the hardware store, and hubby had it whipped up in half an afternoon! The design is thoughtful and will grown as her needs change. :) We are all very pleased with the result. Instead of melt downs (both her's and mine), my little girl is taking pride in being able to hang up her clothing and dress herself. She makes everyone who visits come in her room to see her new closet. It is adorable :) Thanks Again!! 

This was super easy to build and cost me about $150.  I made both my headboard and footboard 6" taller than the plans specified, and used Minwax classic grey stain for the finish color.  I used 1x10 pine boards from home depot in the untreated premium wood section.  They were about $12 for 10ft boards.  I spent some time carefully choosing the ones I liked the best.   I went to the local lumber mill to find untreated 4x4 posts... not easy to find.  Fortunately they sold them to me for $10 a 10ft piece - Only $20 total for those.  

The bed is solid and amazing looking.  I couldn't be happier with it.

I loved this plan when I first saw it.  I did make mine with metal that was 36 inches for the legs, it was the length available at my local hardware store and it also allows me to have plants on two levels and still be high enough for sunlight (unplanned bonus).

I started with the sturdy workbench plans ( http://www.ana-white.com/2011/03/sturdy-work-bench ) but enlarged it to 38x64x33 to accommodate my new CNC machine.  The plans give you enough enformation so that making a size change it very easy.  I used scrap wood I had and Plywood so the project only cost $85.00 to build.  I didn't have many 2x4's so I used the 2x6's I had instead.  Very sturdy table that took about 4 hours to build.

Just finished up my Murphy Bed project. Hope you like.

I couldn't find any plans on here for a simple outside trash bin so I drew these up and it turned out great
I used 12 1x6x6 fence pickets like you use for privacy fences they were 1.75 each and one 16 foot 2x4 and 1 10 foot 2x4 the trash bin is 3 foot tall and a 3 foot square

This is an easy garden bed plan. The only tool you need is a staple gun and you can easily complete this project within a weekend! Find part 1 of the design here.

My growing family was in need of a bigger table so this table and bench were made as a birthday present for my wife. We like the farmhouse look and these plans are a great template to follow. I made quite a few modifications to get my desired look. I wanted a more durable wood than pine for the table top so I used hard maple and eliminated the breadboard ends. The maple essentially tripled the cost of the project, but I think its worth it in the end. I decided not to do the bottom runner so seating could be placed on the ends. The table is also only 72" to fit better in my dining area. All of the joints were assembled using pocket screws and glue. I also added several cross supports on the underside. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out.

Pergola is 10x12 made of all cedar except posts.  Posts were 6x6 brown wood then covered in 1x6 cedar. Slats on top were attached using L brackets. Stained the same year.

Oh boy did my kids squeal when they saw their chairs! I followed Ana's plan on these chairs and used some leftover pink paint from one of the walls in my daughter's room on the pink chair, and mixed left over paint from my son's room for the green chair. I wasn't sure what I was going to do for the personalization until I found the crown and animal wood pieces at the local craft store, then it all just kind of came together. I'm very pleased with how sturdy the chairs are and how happy they are making kids!
