I built this for my mom after finding plans online. Since then I have been inspired by Ana and Jacob to build all furniture I ever need from this point on. No more over priced cheap store bought furniture. Thanks Ana and Family for your plans and helping me find peace in the workshop.

I enjoy making birdhouses and log cabin style is my favorite. I make the logs by setting my saw to rip 3/4 pine at 3/4 so I have 3/4 square strips. I then decide the size of my birdhouse and cut the logs accordingly. I also "wittle" on them a little to make it look more authentic. I simply then just stack, glue and nail one row at a time. You can use 1/4 poplar for the roof but I ripped pine at 1/16 and cut shakes with my utility knife and glue them on one at a time (there are 104 on this roof).

I needed new bar stools for our new bar that we designed and built in our basement family/entertaining room. Regardless of where I was looking, these things are silly expensive. I also wanted a little more of a country/rustic look that would suit my husband and my likes. I used the Vintage Bar Stool plans but my husband isn't a small guy and we have friends that aren't classified under the small frame category either, I needed more structure. After thinking about it for a few days, I liked the rustic X look and used that from so many plans. I also am all about comfort and the padded upholstered seats was a must. Can't wait for my next project. BTW. The cabinets behind the bar also came from here I simply modified for what we needed. We get compliments on it all of the time. Love this website, thank you so much for making simple to read instructions for things I actually want to do. 

first project ever, made a few alterations to both plans and came up with this.

Tools you basic design, made some changes to how the sides were built.  I also used Mahogany.  

I saw http://www.ana-white.com/2013/02/plans/wall-kitchen-corner-cabinet and knew this was the project I wanted to do in our new home. The side cabients are from http://www.ana-white.com/2013/12/plans/36-wall-cabinet-double-door-momp… project, redesined to fit the wall-kitchen-corner-cabinet plans. This was my first cabient build. Still have to install doors. I am happy way it came out and so is wife.

This planter was so easy to build! super cute, fun, spring project.

I used the Farmhouse Table plans and just extended the measurements to build an extra-long outdoor table that seats 12.

I purchased reclaimed 1x4s from a deconstruction warehouse called Re-Use Hawai'i for 20 cents a foot! I cut the lumber to make an un-ordered stagger pattern, experimented with dowel joints to join the cut pieces into 4 ft. planks and used pocket hole screws (hidden by the table legs and supports) to join the planks. I used old salvaged 1x2 window framing for the legs using pocket hole joinery.

I went ahead and splurged on this project. It's all oak with a clear finish to show off the wood. I also put full extension slides on all the drawers. The bed is solid. It doesn't move a bit.
